So far, Sarah and I have worked here at the Cipriani College of Labour and Cooperative Studies. One of the premier tertiary education institutions in Trinidad, Cipriani has seen tremendous growth and development in recent years, from renovating the building itself to expanding the number and variety of degree and certificate programs that the college offers. Part of this process has been a rejuvenation and reinstatement of the Alumni Association, an organization that has been more or less dormant in the past ten years but was formed again this past January. Working with current President Mark Ferrette, Sarah and I will be assisting the Association in developing a coherent and compelling organization ideology and image to help them create a strong foundation for the coming fall semester. Sarah and I have brainstormed many different ideas to help the Alumni Association attract both past and present students, and in the next coming weeks we will be working very closely with Mr. Ferrette to help promote their first major event, the CCLCS’s First Annual Fashion Show and Tea Party. We will be designing both the Fashion Show’s actual program and a separate program focused solely on the Alumni Association, and we will also probably be creating several marketing materials to boost awareness for this sure to be entertaining production.
